brand new day...
last weekend was really a hectic one... went to the 50th nagoya festival on both days, visited nagoya castle and the shirotori park... met up with kimie (who's now in chubu uni)... wow, was indeed great to see her again in japan... we spent saturday in sakae and osu together with her friend zhang xia from Guangxi china... will be goin to her uni this coming saturday for an exhange...
the visits to nagoya castle and shirotori park was really enjoyable lah i would say... look at the amount of pictures i took... those uploaded ones are only a small part of the total of images i have now in my pc! wanted to get another xD card but it's kind of expensive eh! around 5500yen for the 128mb ones.
basically the whole city was in a festive mood these past days... actually there are matsuri all over the country, osaka, kyoto, gifu, kasugai, toyota... everywhere! japanese women clad in kimono and geta (wooden clogs) came out to play! ahahahah! oh ya, heard that there's this yukata (japanese summer bath robe) bazaar next week at oozone... price range 1000yen to 3000yen... gonna go check that out!
not sure if i'm going on this 1day trip to mount fuji and some waterfall or not... it's on the 6th of november... it's the application part that is complicated... we have to go to nagoya uni's international residence on a particular day, particular time... arghhh and that particular day and time, i wont be here leh, i'll be in chubu! maybe i'll just ask my friend to register for me! it's only 3100yen! hey, we're talking bout mount fuji here!
planning to go to kyoto this 30th of oct~2nd nov! it's uni's festival! no classes on these days... but have to get back for the cafe de la mode on the 3rd to "sell" malaysia to the japanese! will go check things out tomorrow at the travel agency in campus! maybe we'll take the shinkansen(bullet train)! a return trip to kyoto will cost around 10,000yen (which is RM350++). Hmm... mom said i can go travel... hahahahah! Jimat-cermat everyday just to save money to go travelling! Hahahah! Students!
Those maple leaves, are beginning to turn red heh! i think in a month's time or so, all of japan will be in "red"... it's known as "koo yoo", the kanji character for it is "red leaf"... oh ya, it's around 20/10 degrees these days... cold at night! no worries, i'm "armed" with futons and blankets! sometime i'll just have a nice piping hot cup of milo or this morinaga hot choc before hitting the sack! gonna put on weight coming this winter leh! arghh...
oh ya, dad was wondering whether i'll dress up like those japanese high school girls, street fashion, ya know? some will even dress up like their favourite anime character and that's really weird... imagine these high school students, platform heels, make-up, costumes, bandana, torn jeans (i mean seriously torn jeans), maybe a wand to go together with the whole makeover, knee length socks, macro mini skirt, thick mascara, blonde hair and stuff... hahahahah! well that is just so not me leh! knee length socks and boots maybe... but ewweee... others, no thank you!
oral test scheduled for tomorrow morning 1110am. gotta speak for 10minutes heh! well, i just hope everything goes well lah! i think it's really hard work, studying in japan! or maybe it's just me! spoiled... or maybe it's the malaysian style tertiary education... most of the time students are still being spoon-fed by the lecturers... we're just being pampered under the system...

So have you tried wearing kimono? Am sure you'll look so cute in it. Did I tell you that I thought you look like a jap before?
Anyway good luck in tomorrow's oral test.
